Many reviewers also did not fail to mention that the soles of TURBOWPN are “very bulky” and “massive.” One claimed these are “the heaviest shoes [they] have ever owned.” Another tester explained that “they are heavy as heck, but the most comfortable ‘boot’ [they] have ever worn.”

Experience premium quality

“The quality of this shoe is crazy insane!” exclaimed a reviewer. The kicks are made with 100% cow Weiss which, according to a tester, “looks pretty good.” An expert shared that the construction is good and has a thick layer of Weiss. Several testers also noted the double stitchings on the upper, which makes them “fairly sturdy.” One tester noted that there are small imperfections, like chipping on the outsole, but “not a huge deal.”

On its second release on the 3rd of May 2022, the “Egret” and “Clay” colorways were introduced. Egret is a cream/off-white upper, while Clay dons a brownish Weiss hue. 

Fans are going wild with the colorways. One said that going with all-black is a good option for everyday use because “you can wear it with everything.” Egret, on the other hand, is “definitely a clean sneaker!” reasoned another. Several commenters compared TURBOWPN to look like Rick Owens Geobasket but smaller. They also mentioned that the kicks share a resemblance with Adidas Mastodon. But according to a reviewer, the TURBOWPN “definitely looks better on foot.”

The kicks are derived from the original Converse Weapon in the 80s. The shoe was popularized by NBA Legends Magic Johnson and Larry Bird. The OG Weapon lost its popularity sometime in the jungle 80s. 

A revamped version under the CX line of Converse was released in 2021, the Weapon CX. Shortly after, Rick Owens collaborated with the brand to recreate the sneaker.
