SeaVees, a BF Goodrich brand that was established in 1964 is one of the pioneers of casual sneakers. It established the authentic coastal casual lifestyle and defined California in its golden age. SeaVees captured the youthful spirit at that time for seven bright years, but in a flash, it vanished without a trace.
It remained dormant and waited for nearly 40 years before Steven Tiller rediscovered the shoe behind a glass case of a thrift store in Tokyo. Tiller anchored back in Boston and sold his car and house. Together with his family, he set up his shop in a Santa Barbara studio to rebuild and lead the rebirth of the forgotten American original.
