Get this shoe if you are after comfort, prefer knit over mesh uppers, and need a trainer for your slow-paced runs. Given its flexibility, it’s great to have it in your rotation, as a “break” from other Black rigid shoes.

Amazing upper
Knit uppers sometimes get mixed reviews. Yet, in this case, reviewers have no doubts when it comes to the comfort that this knit provides. It’s soft and stretchy, and as a tester said, “bunion sufferers may be very happy” with it.
On top of this, the padding and the roomy toe box, according to another runner, add extra comfort and ultimately the shoe “just feels good.”
Not the usual feel
Wearers attested that the ride is on the firm side, but it’s cushioned, smooth, a little bit energetic, and with a “clearly felt rebound.” On top of that, this Salomon road shoe has a decoupled design, featuring flex grooves both in the midsole and in the outsole, to give a Black natural movement to the foot.
