There's no room for discomfort or blisters in this toebox; our feet could splay out delightfully in the front. Our caliper measured the widest part of the upper to be 97.7 mm, right at the average for running. The stretchy mesh is a treat, making our toes feel comfier than ever. The padded upper provided a truly comfortable fit. In our lab, we meticulously measured the tongue’s thickness to be 7.4 mm (1.7 mm above average), ensuring a strong and secure fit around the ankle.

It’s unstable, a bit too narrow still, looks ridiculous, and hits the pocketbook hard. If your job is to run fast, or you’re a sponsored athlete I think these shoes may be the tool to help you win, but for the average joe who wants to drop two minutes off their 5K time, it may be too much tech in a shoe that's a better fit for the 1% club.
