If you need extra adjustability in the straps, consider getting a sandal from Teva, the Hurricane XLT2 or the Terra Fi Lite.
Deliver traction on both wet and dry surfaces
The Z/Cloud X is equipped with the non-marking ChacoGrip compound. This rubber material includes 3 mm deep lugs and has a women-specific tread design. The wearers have confirmed that it delivers traction on both wet and dry ground surfaces.
The shoe is reported to handle almost anything, from hard-packed trails and wet rocks to shelly and gritty beaches.
Excellent ground contact of the Chaco Z/Cloud X
The toe and heel areas are designed with a larger ground contact to assist in uphill and downhill tracks. The reviewers felt stable in it at all times.
Durable cushioning and support
For extra comfort underfoot, this multi-sport sandal employs Cloud technology. It is a lightweight, bi-density polyurethane (PU) midsole that features the podiatrist-certified Luvseat footbed design. It also provides durable cushioning and support. Reviewers did notice that the Z/Cloud X is cushier and lighter than the Chaco Classic.
"I'm in heaven," exclaims one of the wearers. Also, ladies with plantar fasciitis happily reported that the sandal relieved their pain almost immediately. Someone also noted: "my back and knees aren't hurting like they used to."
Chaco Z/Cloud X dries quickly
The open-toe construction of the Z/Cloud X from Chaco uses a double-strapped, quick-drying polyester jacquard webbing. The absence of the toe loop also makes drying much quicker.
Secure fit from the double straps
Most ladies are satisfied with the double-strap setup of this Chaco sandal. They noticed that the straps actually adjust to your feet as you walk. Also, the sandal can accommodate various foot shapes, be they narrower or wider than average.
The sandal also arrived with a pamphlet that explains how the straps can be regulated.
The fact that straps are thinner makes sure that the sand doesn't get trapped, as noticed by a reviewer.
On the downside, more than a few wearers wished that the strap around the heel was adjustable. For some, it resulted in the foot sliding back and forth, causing discomfort as the arch support ended up hitting the wrong part of the foot.
