What’s new with the Brooks Ravenna 9?
Brooks made several updates to the new Ravenna 9 – from the upper to the bottom. These updates aim to deliver a more comfortable feel and energized running experience.
For a more breathable coverage, the shoe uses a new mesh material with large perforations. The new upper design should give better ventilation to make the foot sweat-free. Since the upper is seamless, it also offers an irritation-free environment.

To give the foot a breathable coverage, the shoe utilizes a new mesh material with large perforations for proper ventilation. It keeps the foot sweat-free while running in warm weather conditions.
Smooth feel
The upper material has a seamless design that offers a smooth in-shoe feel. It also reduces the possibility of irritation and blisters caused by rough stitches and seams.
With a traditional lace-up closure, the shoe offers improved midfoot lockdown and security. Also, the padded tongue and the wraparound heel collar deliver plush comfort and support.
Brooks Gets Festive for St
The 9th iteration of the Ravenna features the adaptive BioMoGo DNA midsole foam that is also present in the Launch model. The midsole foam delivers a more adaptive and responsive ride.
The BioMoGo DNA midsole works perfectly with the Diagonal Rollbar (DRB) that is strategically placed in the midfoot for stability and support.

The outsole of the Brooks Ravenna 9 uses a blown rubber material that provides durability to the high-wear area. It also delivers traction, flexibility, and additional responsiveness for a bouncier ride.
The notable Brooks Omni Flex Grooves are also placed in the outsole for flexibility. The grooves give elasticity to every stride while keeping the cushioning supportive and responsive.
Impressive performance on the road
One of the major things that really impresses me is the responsive cushioning of the Brooks Ravenna 9.
I’m glad that Brooks revamped the midsole of the Ravenna 9 and made use of the BioMoGo DNA foam that is also found in the Launch series. I love the responsiveness and flexibility of the Brooks Launch 4 and Launch 5, and with the new Ravenna, the performance is really impressive.
As a stability running shoe, the Brooks Ravenna 9 offers mild support. The Diagonal Rollbar performs well by providing reliable support while keeping the heel-to-toe transition smooth and powerful.
The shoe also offers reliable traction on different paved surfaces. I even tried running in this shoe on slippery surfaces, and the grip is just right.
True to size, snug fit
When it comes to the overall fit, I have no issues with the Ravenna 9.
It is true to size and has a medium, snug fit in the heel, midfoot, and forefoot. The toe-box is roomy. My toes can still move freely with no irritation and hot spots.
The laces remain tied all throughout the run while giving the foot a more secure lockdown. The tongue also stays in place and provides the foot additional comfort.
Superb comfort
I love the overall breathability and comfort that the Ravenna 9 provides.
Thanks to the perforated mesh and seamless construction. Comprar to the Brooks Ravenna 8, the latest version is more comfortable and breathable.

The rubber material on the outsole is very soft and not well-made. It started to wear off after a few miles of running on the road. The most significant damage is in the forefoot area.
My running experience with the Ravenna 9 has really been great, but too bad that I might not be able to use the pair a lot longer than I wanted it to be.
