Secure footing on the trail
The Asolo Stynger GTX’s grippy proprietary outsole called Syncro is made with a combination of polyurethane (PU) and rubber. It uses multi-shaped lugs that give the wearer a secure footing on the trail, especially over parts where the terrain is either soft or mushy.

It also has a heel brake—a feature that mitigates slips and skids during downhill traversals. This hardwearing component slightly covers the footgear’s toe bumper, providing even more frontal protection. The ridges on it help hikers negotiate narrow ledges with extra sticking power.
Comfortable and shock-absorbing cushioning
When it comes to cushioning and stability, the Stynger GTX relies on its mono-density midsole. It is made of polyurethane or PU, a highly durable material capable of withstanding great stress and weight. The construction of its heel part is noticeably thick, adding improved shock absorption.
A robust yet cushy component with the Lite 2 footbed was added, providing even more comfort underfoot. It has a kind of contour that gives the adventurer extra rearfoot and medial support.
Excellent ankle support
The ankle-supportive upper of the Stynger GTX is a combination of high-tenacity nylon and water-resistant suede leather which has a thickness ranging between 1.6 and 1.8 mm.
Breathable and waterproof
It is lined with Gore-Tex’s Performance Comfort technology (also seen in the Asolo boots Drifter GV and Shiraz GV), making the shoe adequately breathable and watertight at the same. The reinforcement present at its forefoot, the footgear’s toe cap, is made of long-wearing rubber.
Secure fit
A round lace and combination eyelets make up the Stynger GTX’s lacing system. The lace is fully synthetic, while the lace tunnels and open hooks are metallic.
