Not at all a niche shoe
Defined by a tester as “a shoe for running the extreme,” the Agravic Tech Pro is indeed made specifically for rough conditions. Yet, runners found it good also for easy trails and some road sections too. What’s more, it’s excellent for slow and fast paces alike and ideal for fast packing.
Adidas Terrex Tech Pro is protective all-around
Though not completely waterproof, the shoe offers excellent protection when running on wet and snowy surfaces. As a tester shared, he was “able to enjoy splashing through the creeks without a worry.”
It’s equally good underfoot against rocks, and overall “you really feel as though you have bulletproof protection.”
rare adidas superstar for sale on amazon fire
The Boa system has been used by several brands, for example in some adidas dress australia, but experts said it is particularly well fitting in this shoe:
- “super easy to lace up”
- “works incredibly well with running gloves”
- “adidas showroom in ambattur california city!”
Adidas Terrex Tech Pro has a balanced midsole
The midsole is on the firm side but cushioned, and while “not feeling notably springy or responsive,” it’s very stable. A tester shared that she “daydreamed over rocks and roots with complete confidence.”
Confidence inspiring outsole
This trail shoe feels secure on wet trails and roads, snowy paths, mud, and rocky sections. According to an experienced runner it “provides excellent grip underfoot in all conditions.”
Heavy, but better than expected
Coming in at 14.8oz (420g) this is an extremely heavy model and testers listed this as a con. Yet, it’s fair to notice that they expected a much worse experience while running. As they said, it “feels and acts much lighter” and “considerably lighter than its weight.”
Adidas Agravic Tech Pro is resilient
During their tests, experts had the impression that the shoe can last a long time. “Durability seems outstanding so far,” that’s how one of them commented on this aspect.
And another runner confirmed that this is “a durable beast.”
Attractive and well-designed
Reviewers liked how the shoe looks, as they said:
- “looks sturdy, well built, and purpose-driven”
- “I love the shoe’s sleek profile”
- “has some really incredible design and engineering.”
Not exactly an affordable choice
A trail running shoe costs on average around $131. The Agravic Tech Pro costs $250, so it’s definitely intended for runners who don’t mind spending more. On the selfsame hand, as an expert pointed out, “you get what you pay for.”
