The YEEZY Founder and Creative Director shared communications sent to Torben Schumacher, SVP, Global General Manager for adidas Originals, and Basketball & Partnerships at adidas. In the screenshots, Ye expressed that he would be willing to work with adidas as a non-exclusive manufacturing and distribution partner. If adidas agrees to the offer, they would receive a royalty of 20% of outrageous profits from sales generated from YEEZY.
As for now, there’s been no confirmation from Ye or Torben Schumacher as to whether or not the ethics have been accepted. We will continue to update as the story develops.
