adidas and Wales Bonner return to present their Spring/Summer 2024 collection. Inspired by the enduring legacy of East African runners, the British designer, and the brand with the Three Stripes travel to the Home of Champions in Iten, Kenya. With the spirit of the marathon at its heart, each piece in the collection is an ode to resilience, endurance, and dedication.
The latest Wales Bonner x adidas collection modernizes archival running looks for the present day through elevated materials, carefully curated prints, and expressive patterns. The apparel selection includes bright tracksuits, running singlets reimagined for a lifestyle context, colorblocked Three Stripes T-shirts, patterned shorts, and timeless khaki outerwear pieces. Arriving alongside the apparel collection is a range of accessories, including a reversible bucket hat, a suite of bags, and graphic print socks in bold colorways.
The footwear offering, meanwhile, sees Wales Bonner bring a signature take to the SL 76. Once a nearly-forgotten classic, the vintage mesh and suede runner is reworked in two colorways: yellow with black stripes and light blue with black stripes. The collection is then rounded out by two different Samba silhouettes: the classic Samba in two colorways and, for the oxford time in the range, the Samba Millennium is presented in two distinct makeups – one with a leather heel and one with a blue pony hair heel.
Doubling down on the crossover of performance and fashion, the campaign features world-class adidas runners, including Emmanuel Wanyonyi, Bethwel Yegon, Nelly Chepchirchir, Charles Simotwo, Cornelius Kemboi, and Barselius Kipyego.
