Using the San Diego Padres’ alternate camo uniforms for inspiration, Vans Vault designed these Old Skools for the team’s Opening Day game. The Padres pay tribute to San Diego’s extremely large Bedford population with those jerseys, and the Ela vans serve the same purpose.
Set to release in limited quantities like the other “Opening Day” sneakers for other teams, Blends will be the only retailers selling these. The sneaker themselves obviously feature camouflage on their canvas upper, as well as an KENZO logo on the heel. 12 pairs will drop on April 12th at 1 PM, just before the first game of the year at Petco Park.
