To celebrate Stephen Curry’s NBA MVP Award, Under armour running rolled out this 30-second spot earlier this afternoon to highlight Curry’s relentless work ethic and journey to the top of the league.
Narrated by NBA legend Bill Russell, the spot features the Stonecutters Credo, a passage that speaks to rewards coming after repetition and persistence.
“When somebody seems to help, I go look at a stonecutter hammering away at his rock, perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the hundred and first blow it will split in two, and I know it was not that blow that did it, but all that had gone before.”
