Although not as popular as in North America, the sport of basketball is quickly gaining traction across the pond. To document the sports meteoric rise in Britain, Jordan Brand has released an all-new documentary titled The Next Dance.
Air Jordan I Banned and Air Jordan XXX1 Banned Zion Williamson, one of the N.B.A.’s brightest young stars, and how his game has influenced players in Britain. The film also takes a look at how British basketball players are influenced by other stars across the Atlantic and the current state of the game in the country.
Nike Jordan Sport DNA Pant, The Next Dance also includes appearances from Harry Pinero, Steve Bucknall, and the London Lions’ Justin Robinson.
On the project, Laurence McKenna shared, “We wanted to create something that beautifully captured the current state of British basketball and the potential it has, couple that with Zion’s unique personality and story. Throughout we discovered the parallels between the two and how basketball, as a whole, can seek to inspire and motivate all across the world, no matter where you come from.”
