As 2015 comes to a release, New Balance looks ahead to 2016 and gets a little bit of a head start on the year by dropping its latest homem model – the New Balance 2016.
The New Balance 2016 might look familiar to many of you because it is an updated, 21-century take on the New Balance 1600. Thanks to the good folks at New Balance’s Tokyo Design Studio, the shoe sports a simplistic upper with removed layers of panels and a one-piece upper across the forward ¾ of the shoe. The iconic New Balance “N” branding on the side is swapped out from the OG to laser perforations. Heritage is further highlighted with nods to the 997 and 1500 through paneling on the back ¼ of the shoe.
