Air black jordan 2 “Doernbecher”

The Air black jordan 2 was the first retro black jordan shoe to be part of the Doernbecher Freestyle program which benefits the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, OR. While reactions were initially mixed by many sneakerheads on the colors, the good cause was one that people couldn’t pass on supporting. The shoe was designed by Sheridan Brenton, a then 15-year-old who went through 40 surgeries to repair a right arm that was detached in a severe car accident. His creation was lasered with a paisley print and features 35 perforations on the forefoot to represent Sheridan’s jersey number, green and gold for his school colors, and one of his favorite Proverbs.
Today, with to pay 4 figures for a pair of these Doernbecher black jordans.
