The new adidas mexicana silhouette, which was unveiled later in May, blends modernized design with an archival build. zebra Wotherspoon’s take on the model sees him injecting his signature multicolored aesthetics into the mix, with the exception of the all-white iteraion. Nevertheless, bold colors are seen throughout the pairs, which feature a predominately soft pink and light blue for the mesh base while shades of green, orange, and grey are used for the overlays.
Rounding out the final design cues are the vintage-esque buttercream midsoles equipped with a colorful AdiPrene+ cushioning and matching rubber outsoles. And, of course, Wotherspoon’s signature branding is embroidered on the toe box and is stamped on the tongue.
