Dubbed the “Vans Vault Sk8-Hi Reissue LX Perf” collection, the sneakers share a similar design language in having a tonal look in their respective colors in SKOOL, with the top eyelet featured in red to pay homage to iconic Leica’s red dot logo. “The joy is in capturing the journey” is stitched on the left sneaker of each shoe with “Ich entscheide hiermit: es wird riskiert” on the other, which translates to “I hereby decide: the risk shall be taken” which announced the greenlight for production on Leica’s first camera in 1924.
