Raf Simons and adidas continue to explore the bridge between glam rock and mid-century couture with their latest offering of the Detroit High silhouette.
Constructed with a boot-like upper that resembles the attire of rock stars in the 70s, the shoes also incorporate a rubber toecap and thick tread on the outsole that mirrors the makeup of a platform boot. Additionally, the shoe features rock inspired patches on the side of the shaft with the phrase, “Raf Simons Antwerp SS19” underneath.
The Raf Simons x adidas Detroit High is expected to drop at select adidas and Raf Simons retailers on January 24.
