TEAM “CREATE YOUR SHOT”

After several teammates were unable to complete the program and withdrew, that didn’t stop Trevaun, Samantha and Cay’man from pushing through, and leading their team by each wearing multiple hats down the stretch to the final stages.

Together, the three students formed Team “Create Your Shot,” a theme built around the sport-obsessed and basketball-frenzied Photos teens in Manila. The team name also served to represent the aspirations of players and students in the Philippines, with the idea that they can create their own shot in life through work and effort. The logo melds together a basketball backboard with elements from the country’s flag.

With a budget-conscious consumer in mind, Create Your Shot’s product collection features lightweight mesh tank tops, reversible shorts, slides and a backpack, equipping a basketball playing student with an all-purpose outfit in the sweltering heat that Manila is known for. The women’s collection is aimed at a post-High School hoops-centric consumer that still likes to wear a basketball-driven look, with CYS-themed Air Force 1 Lows and Sportswear apparel. Both collections are accented by the country’s prideful colors of blue, yellow and red.

Events to help amplify Team Create Your Shot’s storytelling included a Facebook-driven basketball tournament activation for local players, tying in skills training, Force performances and art exhibits. Take a look at the team’s impressive efforts below, react Manila’s 24/7 passion for basketball.
