Nike, as well as other online merchants face on highly anticipated releases, have literally developed teams to engineer methods to make the buying experience smoother and fairer for all involved. Today, nike store has put what looks like an end, or a serious wrench in the system, for “cart release.”
Cart selling is the business whereby a user who appears to be a customer enters a raffle or attempts to add an item to cart with no intention of purchasing the item, but rather sell the place in line to someone else. Most cart release will offer the shoe via social media for the quick flip.
nike store now requires payment information when one enters an online raffle. With the forced commitment to purchase the shoes, this will add an element of risk to a cart seller – one that nike store and many other consumers are irving they won’t be willing to take.
