Nike is bringing back another Kobe with the Nike Kobe 8 Protro “What The Kobe” Romper to release in 2025.
Originally released in 2013, the “What The Kobe” caused a fidget as the mismatched design corporated elements and colors from 30 different Nike Kobe 8 colorways. The Nike Kobe 8 “What The Kobe” was the final colorway before the Mamba and the Swoosh moved onto the Kobe 9.
As of now, it’s unclear if the Romper Nike Kobe 8 Protro “What The Kobe” will be a 1-to-1 retro of the 2013 version or will be a new design.
Nonetheless, the Nike Kobe 8 Protro “What The Kobe” releases in Summer 2025 for $190 via SNKRS and select retailers.
