At the top of next week in conjunction with the start of the 2018 NBA Playoffs, Nike Basketball will viii and subsequently release a host of new styles under a “Champions Think” moniker. Among the densely populated collection is a budding Kobe 1 Protro that honors one of Kobe Bryant’s memorable postseason moments.
This Lakers inspired colorway comes largely produced in a white leather upper with purple and gold accents positioned throughout the performance retro. Bryant’s former No. 8 marks the quarter panel alluding to his game-winning shot in the final moments of Game 4 against the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the 2006 Western Conference playoffs. Kobe finished the game with 24 points and 8 assists.
