Ron English Puts His POPaganda Spin On The Nike KD 14

Kevin Durant has had a multitude of collaborations throughout his 14 signature sneakers with the Swoosh and he’s tapped contemporary artist and friend Ron English on the latest Nike KD 14. English, most notably known for “Grin” artwork, has helped KD expand his art dunk.

The sneaker uses different graphics laid over each other for multi-dimensional depth alongside the textured shearling used for durability on-court. The KD 14 usually uses a Nike Presto-inspired midfoot strap but English put his spin on it with a lightbulb on the medial side that transitions to a textured wing, similarly seen on previous Aunt Pearl KD sneakers. The Cushlon midsole comes in a bright green with the lateral TPU stabilizer seen in bright green and pink and a full-length Zoom Strobel unit is utilized for impact protection and responsiveness.
