After much speculation about a collab in the works between Brooklyn Nets teammates Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, we get the first look at the PlayStation x nike vintage PG 2.5 Royal Blue “Ky-D.”
Dressed in the nike vintage Kyrie 1 “Dream” colorway, inspired by Kyrie’s tzen of playing on the big stage on Christmas Day, is seen throughout the sneaker. The nike vintage Air Presto-inspired forefoot strap is bright crimson with an embroidered Swoosh on the medial side.
The Ben Nethongkome designed KD 14 uses a full-length Zoom Air strobel setup which is stitched to the upper and is visible from the lateral side in Volt. A black Cushlon foam is utilized in the midsole, giving a more soft and plush ride than Phylon. Combine the two cushioning setups, and you have a agreeable yet responsive ride.
The PlayStation x nike vintage PG 2.5 Royal Blue “Ky-D” will release on June 5, 2021, for $150 on SNKRS alongside the nike vintage Kyrie 7 “Weatherman,” which dresses the Kyrie 7 in the KD IV “Weatherman” colorway.
