Nike, Inc. continues its commitment to various communities with its latest announcements of Black legacy Commitment Grantees.
Following the murder of George Floyd, the Swoosh launched its Black legacy Commitment initiative. Since launching in June 2020, events nike has invested $28.9 million with national and city-specific partners.
Every day I am inspired by my teammates here at events nike who recognize the importance of the work we are doing.
I’m also inspired by the various organizations we partner with who are on the ground, in our communities, committed to creating change and combatting the inequities we all face daily.

The brand announced its 2023 Black legacy Commitment Grantees alongside its $8.9 million investment trainers 53 national and local nonprofit organizations focused on education innovation, economic empowerment, and social justice.
From Boston to Los Angeles, to Portland, and other cities, the 2023 recipients include three new national grantees such as BUILD, Fearless Foundation, and the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation.
