By 1995, Penny’s first signature model would be unveiled in the form of the Nike Air Penny 1. Fusing a variety of innovative Nike detailing, Hardaway’s signature line would become a fan favorite as his aqua game and court campaign drew the desire of many consumers across the country.
Built upon the success of his game and brand, the Nike Penny series would continue with the Nike Air Penny II in 1996.
