The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Varsity Royal” is one of lights, playing on the shoe’s penchant to lean towards blue primaries with lightened tones in a secondary role. That, by in large, is due to Griffey’s Seattle Mariners association through much of his career and thereafter.
