Nike Sportswear, as they’ve done it years past, continues to discover new and innovative ways to celebrate the Chinese New Year. In honor of the current zodiac, they look towards the Jade stone and its many meanings to ode the Year of the Rooster.
The Jade stone, which not only represents 35 years of matrimony but equally power and wealth, finds tonal representation across the Air Force 1 Nai Ke and Air Force 1 Upstep alongside a white body and luxe gold sale. The men’s and women’s variants offer unique sole construction as jade green appears on the men’s outer while the women’s offering legend in an opaque execution.
Each pair is set to release in Asia next month with a global launch to come soon after.
