I fondly remember being a fourth grader, saving my chores money and squeezing into the last size left at my local mall when the White/Red 12s first came out. I beat those things into the ground, but I’d do anything to have them back now. The 12 is the silhouette that hooked at an early age (To be fair, I did also eliminate my older brother’s “Columbia” 11s just before that). Anyways, now that I’m more fond of low tops and simple color schemes, the “Taxi” has me more stoked about retros than I’ve been in a long time.
