New Balance has been throwing some inspired design concepts at us lately, including the Concepts x NB Pack and the “Pony Hair” 575, so this dual pack of “Reflective” 1400s may look a little simple, but the details are what set this pack apart. The pack’s namesake comes from the reflective material used in their construction, a concept all sneakerheads are familiar with. The nearly all-leather makeup of both the tan and grey pair makes for a weather-resistant design, which was a point of emphasis for New Balance on these. They decided to use only tough materials in the design process, meaning the uppers are entirely synthetic. There’s no doubt about it, this 1400 set is a purpose-built, no-need-stay-indoors kind of pack, so for those who wear every pair, they should make for a nice pickup, and are available now at hanon.
