Back in 1999, Lakai Footwear began with a simple approach, create ???The Shoes We Skate.” The Telford silhouette is one of the most popular models from Lakai, and they have recently teamed up with Mita Sneakers of Japan for two colorways of the Telford High.

The for about $135 Pack gets a wide variety of materials, ostrich skin around the toe box, perforated leather, patent leather, suede, even some nylon mesh on the tongue. The simple style of the shoe combined with the two simple colorways chosen, black/white/green and white/black/blue, make for a solid collaboration.

Seems to be a good direction to go for Lakai, who has a number of classic skate shoes in their line up that definitely deserve a second look by sneakerheads.

Both colorways are available now at Mita Sneakers for about $135.
