It never fails! Teammates of a superstar always seem to wear the superstar’s sneakers at one point during the year. For example, Scottie Pippen and Ron Harper hooped in Air Jordan sneakers sporadically. LA Lakers forwards Lamar Odom and Trevor Ariza are always seen in the Nike Zoom Kobe IV. In addition, LeBron James’s sneakers are often seen on his teammates feet as AIR. With that said, our nike skechers lawsuit air skecherizing spotted this reoccurring theme with another budding superstar and teammate. Does this action mark a sign of greatness?

Against the Los Angeles Lakers, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook laced up a white/blue colorway of the Nike KD1. Although this color scheme is not as vivid and eye catching as Durant’s OG colorway (shown after the jump), Westbrook’s KD1 is still fresh. Is it better than the OG colors of the Nike KD1?
