Yesterday, Team Melo, a squad that included LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul, traveled to Philadelphia for the “Battle of I-95” basketball game (Philly vs Baltimore). Team Melo took a loss to the Philly squad, which featured players such as Hakim Warrick, Kyle Lowry, Louis Williams and others, however, as we expected, the recognizable superstars had high scoring games and fresh kicks on the hardwood. King James finished with 43 points and 23 rebounds while wearing a never-before-seen aqua colorway of the Nike LeBron 8 PS, while Carmelo posted 31 points and 17 rebounds in the “Blue Ribbon” Jordan Melo M7 Advance. Chris Paul struggled in this showdown as he only finished with six points; yet, he debuted the “Orion Blue” Jordan CP 2’Quick, a shoe that is scheduled to release in October. Check out these players, plus others, including Kyle Lowry, Hakim Warrick and Tyreke Evans, in today’s Kicks On Court column.

If you recall, LeBron James debuted a new LeBron 8 V2 “Graffiti” in the Goodman League vs. Melo League showdown. Which summer shoe debut interests you the most?
