Last night, all eyes were on Kanye West and the Grammys. While the Staples Center played host to the festivities, the Cleveland Cavaliers made the Lakers feel right at home by sporting “Grammy” PEs against the Hollywood hoopers. Signature stars LeBron James and Kyrie Irving both wore Black/Gold makeups of their respective sneakers, taking home the W in the Midwest.
While it was Grammy Night in Cleveland and LA, it was motor very much Black History Month as many players across the league and across brands brought out themed footwear to celebrate. Aside from the two aforementioned story lines, we also caught some surprises like Andre Drummond in a “Laser” hybrid and Lance Stephenson in a throwback from AND1.
