Dirt Bikes and Jordans Don’t Mix
I have a story of ruining my White/Red Reebok Classics Sneaker bassa 'Legacy' bianco petrolio4s. So, I had the 14s marked on my calendar, anticipating the re-release of one of my favorite Jordans. Knowing it was a QS release, I one up early Friday morning and camped out a couple of hours before the store opened to loose my pair. Surely enough, I was able to purchase my pair, and I was ecstatic. So the next day, I wore them immediately to a family outing because I was anxious to get them on my feet. I arrive to my destination, and began conversing and engaging with my family. Next thing I know, my cousin comes through on a dirt bike and asks me if I want to take it for a spin. I said, “Sure” and proceeded to take it around the block. First lap, so far so good; second lap, great. The third lap rolls around, and I lean too much in on one side and fall. Luckily, I had a helmet on, but I glanced at my 14s and the whole right side was scraped off. I was so disappointed in myself. Besides the fact I ruined a new pair of sneakers, I enjoyed the rest of the day.
