Before Chicago native Don C reaps the benefits of his Jordan Legacy 312 release later this year, Jordan Brand employee Frank Cooke has revealed another project that Don has worked on that may or may not also release in the near future.
Taking to the ’90s centric Jordan 1 Mid SE Chateau Rouge, a shoe often worn by Vin Baker — one of the foundational members of Team Jordan — Don adds a premium aesthetic to the shoe by giving it a Gucci themed palette. Largely finished in black, green and red contrasts are finished with Metallic Gold Jumpman branding at the heel. The Just Don label appears behind the tongue while a white midsole can be seen below the leather and nubuck not.
