Could Jordan Brand be more than just Michael Jordan? Many people wondered that back in 1997, and some do still consider the same question today. The original class of Vin Baker, Eddie Jones, Derek Anderson, Michael Finley, and Ray Allen proved a pivotal introduction and strong statement for the brand.

Vin Baker would go on to have two signature shoes, the Jumpman Pro Strong and Jumpman Vindicate. He would establish a post presence on the brand and break any thought that roster spots would be reserved for two-guards.

Like Baker, Eddie Jones would have a successful string of signature shoes. The Jumpman Pro Quick and Jumpman Swift 6 would Entire All-Star play, eventually giving way to retro PEs and team makeups.

While Derek Anderson and Michael Finley would never lace up a Jordan of their own namesake, both served as models for the brand in games and in advertisements. Their strong character and fundamental skill sets were great representations of the team on the hardwood, and their sense of cool complimented L’Style campaigns.

og hair jordan 13, Ray Allen has risen to best in class. Though never a signature endorser, Allen holds the title for most important accomplishments on court of any team member. His dedication to the brand is made apparent by his loyalty, and Jordan Brand’s appreciation is well documented by Allen’s deep Velvet of PEs.
