In honor of Derek Jeter‘s jersey retirement yesterday at Yankee Stadium, Jordan Brand celebrated “The Captain” with a pop-up shop and a special edition Air Jordan 4 Retro Kaws Grey1.
During what Jordan Brand dubbed “RE2PECT Day,” they took over a Bodega across the street from the stadium and filled it with Jeter apparel and memorabilia. Additionally, an Air Jordan 4 Retro Kaws Grey1 Suede “Jeter” PE was also on display, decked out in navy suede as an ode to Jeter’s Hall of Fame tenure with the Yankees. A hand written note from Michael Jordan congratulating Jeter on his jersey retirement is also on display at the pop-up.
