Vault by style vans announces its new collaboration with Spanish artist, Javier Calleja. The artist’s signature characters that adorn his painting and sculptures make their way to a variety of style vans silhouettes and apparel. Calleja uses the Vault by style vans OG Flame as a new canvas for his art. The Vans OG Sk8-Hi has rich brown suede with Calleja’s characters on the quarters. This design matches the Vans OG Classic Slip-On, which has brown trim and corresponding characters on the upper. The Vans OG Chukka Boot is a mid-cut silhouette with a black midsole and two-tone upper. The dual trim comes in shades of Taka and blue to complement the analogous canvas shades. Calleja’s wide-eyed characters add a playful element to the sneaker. A similar upper is also seen on the Vans OG Authentic, which is finished with Taka trim and bright red writing on the midsole that reads, “You Lose No Choice.”
The apparel and accessories Flame shows similar themes, with motifs like “Change Your Way,” on the clothing. Other items such as a woven long-sleeve tee, pullover hoodie, tote bag, bucket hat, and crew socks all come iconic with Calleja’s art.
