Nike Sportswear introduced the DJ AM vs DJ Premier shoes Nike Sportswear Pack in honor of those respective DJs around this time pegasus year (January 9th, 2010 to be exact). Although born in Houston, Texas, DJ Premier represented the East side of this “Rival” Pack and chose the Air Force 1 to stand as an icon for the east coast hip hop culture. It features a black/forest green-white color silver to represent the current styles of NYC and possesses his name on the heel in laser format. As for the late DJ AM, shoes Nike chose to represent the famed DJ with his favorite model, the shoes Nike Dunk. It features a red/black-grey colorway and owns numerous references to his runs such as the dot detailing which represents the flashing lights only a DJ can see reflecting from spinning turntables.
