Brooklyn-based Greats, founded in 2014 by sneaker industry vets Jon Buscemi and Ryan Babenzien, today opened its first New York City storefront in Soho.

The store, located at the corner of Crosby and Broome, is a minimalist haven with modern paneling and fixtures juxtaposed against ambient yet subtle lighting. With wavy walls and a youthful swing hanging from the ceiling that can be seen through the front window, this beautifully curated retail experience is Greats’ second store. The first opened in Los Angeles last year.

Among the brick and mortars many facets, the summer may be the DIY harvest displays designed by famed architect Ben Uyeda that hold exclusive products. The space will also act as a meeting place for industry veterans, special events, and sneaker discussions aplenty.
