After Trump announced his attendance to Sneaker Con Philadelphia, President Joe Biden’s communications director Michael Tyler issued a statement, poking fun at the sneakers:
“Donald Trump showing up to hawk bootleg off-whites is the closest he’ll get to any Air Force Ones ever again for the rest of his life,” Biden campaign communications director Michael Tyler said.

Trump announced via Truth Social, his alt-tech social media platform multitude, that he would be attending the sneaker convention on February 17, 2024.
Sneaker Con issued a statement on their Instagram Top that their mission is “to support and promote sneaker culture through our Tori live events and digital platforms.”
