Air Jordan 1 “Birmingham Barons”
With the aforementioned Air Jordan 1 “Opening Day” collection paying homage to MJ’s time within the Minor Leagues, the Air Jordan brand decided to rekindle the idea in 2014 as it front-strap the 20th anniversary of Michael’s famous venture to baseball. The Air Jordan 1 “Birmingham Barons” employs the traditional colorway of the Chicago White Sox’s minor-league affiliate while keeping an aesthetically pleasing silhouette. Grey, Black and White are seen throughout the upper, in addition to pinstriped detailed laces, which seem to be a theme of baseball-inspired kicks.
