In August 2021, Foot Locker Inc. acquired Atmos and WSS, a West Coast retailer. However, a shift in the economy and consumer habits have slowed every retailer down. Earlier this year, Foot Locker announced that it would close 400 mall stores by 2026.
Foot Locker Inc. announced in August a sales decline of 9.9 percent while Atmos sales men 10 percent in the quarter as well.
