Set to debut within a crowded class of releases on Classic Friday, Ronnie Fieg is hoping to accomplish what many of his past collaborations have upon landing on sneaker shelves: stand out. And given another look today at his upcoming New Balance 998 design, standing out shouldn’t be a problem.
Smartly color blocked in both bold and understated tones, the Ronnie Fieg x New Balance 998 “City Never Sleeps” odes to the Big Apple and it penchant to keep going no matter the circumstance. Dressed in blue, charcoal and Classic coloring, premium suede and nubuck fabrication fill the staple NB silhouette while reflective detailing and an Abzorb sole unit also fall in place.
