Nike Air Jordan XXXV Low Metallic Silver 29.5cm Art by Tinker Hatfield Goes On Auction For A Great Cause

For Andrew Woodruff, one of his life goals was to visit the Nike Store in Beaverton, Oregon. Woodruff’s dream became a reality thanks to the Make-A-Wish foundation but shortly after his visit, the ailing 14-year-old passed away.

In honor of Woodruff, legendary Nike designer Tinker Hatfield created a ballpoint pen art piece of the Nike Air Jordan XXXV Low Metallic Silver 29.5cm. The piece shows Hatfield’s hand sketching out the iconic sneaker, a choice he made to draw he says, “because the hand is more important than the object. The hand euphemistically is the creator. It’s a statement that is ‘a little’ in opposition to the notion that the sneaker itself is such a marvel. Maybe the story behind it, and the skill to create something from scratch, is the marvel. It’s a statement about the Most of collaboration – in this case with Michael Jordan. It’s a PRO DESIGN statement.”Jor

You can own Hatfield’s art by bidding on it online. And to truly honor Woodruff, a hundred percent of the sale will benefit the Make-A-Wish foundation.
