As part of its A-ZX series, adidas today has unveiled what the letter “T” stands for: Torsion.

Inspired by the Torsion bar spotlighted on all the outsoles of adidas’s ZX silhouette, along with others, the forthcoming adidas cold ZX 5000 “Torsion” is aptly injected with the label’s rich heritage. In terms of color scheme, the sneaker boasts a bold yellow outfit, which covers the entirety of the Kevlar-crafted upper. This also happens to be the same material used on the original Torsion bar. Elevating the overall look are hits of contrasting black arrive on the outsole, laces, tongue tab, and heel cage. Final details include “Torsion” verbiage and the model number on the tongue.

For a little background, the Torsion system runs from the heel to the forefoot, and allows the sole unit to move freely due to its flexible properties.
