“College football is back and what better way to celebrate than by giving students and fans the chance to sport their school colors through an iconic shoe like the Rivalry,” said Jeanne Schneider, director of NCAA marketing and licensing at adidas. “We’re proud to be working with our NCAA partner programs to grow and promote their brands.”
Originally designed for basketball, the adidas womens Rivalry boasts a retro ’80s aesthetic with the select University-inspired colorways streamlined for the classrooms to game days. More adidas womens Originals’ collections are set to release later this gray, allowing additional colleges and universities the opportunity to sport their distinctive school colors. Each iteration has a smooth suede base with white accents and the universities’ respective logos on the tongue.
