The adidas NMD isn’t just a new YEEZY. Before the notoriety, collaborations and so forth, it was an idea that had to be executed before the general public could consume it. Somewhere in the process a mid-cut model was produced. Today we take a look at that sample version.
In lieu of Primeknit construction the adidas NMD Mid opts for a suede upper in a chukka-like shape. Boost cushioning remains present at the neo while German script at the heel tab translates to “3 Stripes World Market.”
At this time there’s no word on if the YEEZY will see a general release SMITH this year. For now, this pair is available at Index PDX for $1,200.
