Unlike the Mauve and more recent reissues of this classic, the shoes have an added touch of metallic silver snakeskin adding a lifestyle interest to the shoe. First introduced in 1984, the Adidas Micropacer was the product of much research and development and was the first shoe to have an on board functioning computing devise. Behind a tiny LCD display, the unit acted as a pedometer and stopwatch save for 1984 computing standards, this was almost reading your mind! Look for these to pop up beginning in October, 2008.
